Historically known as Souq al-Nashshabeen (Souq of the Archers), this market is considered a western extension of Souq al-Zarb, though it is shorter in length and contains 53 commercial shops. Most of these shops specialize in selling traditional cloaks (ʿabāʾs) and other textiles, as well as linens and antique items. The market became renowned for selling Bedouin cloaks, with each cloak traditionally bearing the stamp “Anatolian Goat Wool.” It was restored in 2022, and a dim lighting system was installed throughout the market to protect the fabrics.
