St. John the Baptist Church is an Orthodox church founded in 1973 by local residents.
The idea for its construction originated in 1966, when a member of the community, Nassim Tannous Haddad, was inspired to build the church following a visionary dream. Since then, the church has undergone several phases of expansion.
