Khan As’ad Pasha was built in 1751 in the heart of Old Damascus by the governor As’ad Pasha al-Azm. It was designed to serve as a residence for merchants and travelers. Known for its grand architecture and high domes, the khan stands as a testament to the flourishing trade during the Ottoman era.
