Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque is a historic mosque located in Famagusta, in Northern Cyprus. Originally built as a Catholic cathedral in the 13th century, it was converted into a mosque following the Ottoman Empire’s conquest of Cyprus in 1571. The mosque was initially named Ayia Sophia Mosque, but in 1954, it was renamed Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque.
