Our Lady of the Annunciation Melkite Greek Catholic Church

The Catholic community formed with the expansion of the silk trade. The church was built with a front semi-arch and Corinthian column bearing a frieze inscribed with Rejoice, full of grace. The bell, cast in Lyon, was carried by camel caravan to Antioch. The facade’s glass was bombed and replaced in 2018 with Venetian glass depicting the Annunciation.
