Sayyidah Zaynab Mosque

The Sayyidah Zaynab Shrine in Damascus is a sacred site located in the town of Sayyidah Zaynab, south of Damascus. It is considered one of the most important religious shrines for Shia Muslims. Many believe it to be the resting place of Sayyidah Zaynab, the daughter of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib—may God honor his face—and it attracts visitors from all over the world.
